- A bachelor’s degree in computing or related discipline from an accredited institution with a GPA of 2.75 or better, including official transcripts
- Resume/CV or GRE scores
- At least two years of practical work experience in IT or GRE scores of: 146+ verbal, 155+ quantitative (mean GRE: 152 verbal, 163 quantitative)
- Prospective students who have a bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution in a non-IT or non-computer-related discipline and at least four years of IT-related experience may be admitted into the MSIT program after they satisfactorily complete preparatory classes as non-degree-seeking students in Python, Algorithms, and Data Structures;Discrete Math for Information Technology Professionals; Database Applications; Computer Networks; and Introductory Statistics.
